G: Breathe. Relax. connect with the earth, your body, emotions and being present in the moment of what you are experiencing. In order to heal you must allow yourself to feel.
R: Reflect, why are we in the moment? What are you feeling? Why are you experiencing this emotion? Put a face to who is attached to it.
O: Observe where you feel it in your body, get attuned with yourself.
W: Let's write it out, organize your thoughts and begin the work.
What is Shadow Work?
Shadow work involves working with your unconscious mind to uncover parts of yourself that you repress. This can include trauma or personality characteristics that you subconsciously consider undesirable. Anyone can do shadow work on their own but to get where you want to be, introspection, support and proper guidance is key.

There are different shadow types and understanding your flow allows you to see people like you’ve never seen them before. You may also begin to recognize toxic patterns and behaviors in yourself and others, and others that need transformation in order to build more meaningful relationships.
Uncovering your shadow allows you to gain freedom to create what you want for yourself rather than unconsciously recreating what you don’t want. It encourages you to relate to others more intimately and
to broaden your choices about how you live your life and how you relate to other people.
